My power bank is defective. It charges from 0 to 100% in a few minutes but when I use it it lasts for a few seconds.
What can I do?

@wikidata Most batteries have this problem if you have used them for several years. Is it an old one?

Alternatively, it might be defective firmware. It reports an incorrect values and either refuses to charge beyond 100% (whereas it should) or shuts down at 0% (even though it still has power). I am afraid this cannot be fixed yourself. Sorry about that.

@tux Yes, it was an old one. I just don’t like the idea of throwing things away. Any idea of durable power banks?
